“Distant Romance” (2020)

“Distant Romance” was inspired by life in the desert and the distancing of lovers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cactus imagery represents the beauty of the desert in spite of its unrelenting heat and harshness. The cracks in the land are symbolic of hardships and difficulties.
