Arabic Calligraphy on Dua painting. Acrylic, pastel, embroidery, beading.

O Allah, let his journey be covered quickly and most easily. (Tirmidhi*)
“Dua” is an Arabic word, important in Islam, which refers to calling out to Allah; it is an invocation, a supplication or call. Muslims are encouraged call out to Allah about any matter in life. This means dua should be done in times of goodness and in times of hardship, in daily prayers, outside of the daily prayers, and for anything we need in our lives—no matter how trivial it may seem.
*Jami` at-Tirmidhi is a collection of hadith compiled by Imam Abu ‘Isa Muhammad at-Tirmidhi (rahimahullah). His collection is unanimously considered to be one of the six canonical collections of hadith (Kutub as-Sittah) of the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ). It contains roughly 4,400 hadith (with repetitions) in 46 books.
